This website is run by ProteGo Hygiene Pvt. Ltd., K-104, Tower 6, International Infotech Park, Vashi, Navi Mumbai 400 705, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean ProteGo Hygiene Pvt. Ltd.

You can browse this website without creating an account or telling us who you are. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map of our office. When that map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. The rest of the site loads nothing from Google.

Like most websites, the service that hosts this site may automatically record basic technical details when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These records are kept to keep the site secure and working, not to identify or follow individual visitors.

When you send a form on this site (an assessment request, a message or a quote request), we store what you entered, with the date and the page it came from, in our customer database so that we can call you back. We do not store anything until you press the button.

If you arrived from one of our adverts or emails, we also store the campaign label in that link, so we know which message brought you here.

This website has a chat assistant called Ask ProteGo. It is an automated assistant, not a person.

What you type in the chat is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, so that it can write the reply. It is processed outside India. We have not allowed OpenAI to use it to train its models, and OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to watch for misuse.

We keep the conversation, the page you were on and any thumbs up or down you give for 60 days, and then delete it. Our staff can read it. We use it to see what visitors ask, to improve the answers and to check that the assistant behaves as it should.

If you ask the assistant to arrange a call and give your name and phone number, we save that as an enquiry in our customer database, in the same way as a form on this site, and keep it as we keep other enquiries. Apart from that, a chat is not linked to who you are. We store a coded form of your IP address, which we do not turn back into the address, only to limit how many messages one visitor can send in an hour.

The chat uses no cookies. It remembers your conversation only in your browser tab, which clears when you close the tab.

Please do not type medical details, payment details or other sensitive information into the chat. If you want a conversation deleted sooner than 60 days, write to sales@protegohygiene.com with roughly when it took place.

If you add products to the cart, the cart is saved only in your own browser, using a feature called local storage. It stays on your device, we cannot see it, and it is not a cookie. You can clear it by emptying the cart or clearing this site's data in your browser.

When you place an order, we store your name, phone, email, delivery address, GSTIN if given, the items and the amount, so we can deliver and invoice.

Payments are taken by Razorpay, a payment gateway licensed in India. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay, not to us; we receive only a payment reference and the amount. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

We use what you send us to reply to you, prepare quotes, arrange assessments, visits and deliveries, and keep the records we need for orders, accounts and our legal obligations.

Our database is hosted by Supabase in India (AWS Mumbai region).

For Hospital to Home, we ask for a patient's or family's details only with their consent and use them only to arrange and carry out the home visit and share its report.

We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed to do what you asked, for example with a courier delivering your order, or where the law requires us to.

If you email us, your message is handled by your own email provider and ours on the way. Email is widely used but not perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details unless they are needed.

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purpose you shared it for, or for as long as the law requires us to keep records, such as tax and accounting records. After that, we delete it.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it, ask us to correct, complete or update it, and ask us to erase it where we no longer need to keep it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To make a request or raise a concern, email sales@protegohygiene.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will reply as soon as we reasonably can.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Data Protection Board of India.

We will update this policy if the website changes how it handles information. If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy before they go live and ask for your consent where that is required.
